Scoring, the streak, practice, and how the day resets.
How is the flag quiz scored?
A first try is 4 points. One miss is 3, two misses is 2, and three misses is 1. Four misses scores 0 and the country name is shown. Five flags make a top score of 20.
How does the streak work?
The streak counts UTC days you finish in a row. It is saved in this browser only. Finishing an older archive page does not move the streak. If you skip a UTC day, the next day you finish starts the streak at 1.
What is the difference between the daily quiz and practice?
The daily quiz is the same five flags for every player on that UTC date. Practice is a random set of five. You can practice the world, or only Europe, Africa, or Asia. Practice does not change the streak.
Does the site use ads or cookies?
The pages reserve empty spaces for ads. No ad script runs yet. The quiz stores your streak and scores in localStorage on this device. Read the privacy policy for the details.
